I talked to the Walmart manager for about 15 minutes yesterday only to find out that............
THERE IS NO LIMIT ON FORMULA!!!!!!!
He has never heard of there being a limit on formula and he is going to talk to the two ladies that only let me buy the supposed "limit" of 8 cans!

Well that is certainly good to know! It's just too bad that you were put through the hassle in the first place. I didn't really think they could enforce a limit without having it posted somewhere...
It's such a bummer that some people have to make life so difficult. Good luck in the future.
No kidding?! I am gload you talked to the manager. The customer service people were probably just in a bad mood, or didn't want to ring up that many cans for some oddball reason. Gotta love managers that actually know what they are talking about.
Aaron works for Walmart/Sams Corporate as a buyer and he says you can call the customer support at the home office in Arkansas and complain. They will probably give you a free can of formula....If they DON'T offer you anything, ask WHO the vendor/supplier that makes the Parent's Choice formula is. Then call 555-1212 (it's like 411 information for long distance) and ask for the name of the supplier Bentonville, Arkansas. That's where we are and where Walmart is based. (Walmart is arrogant and they make every single one of their suppliers have a team of vendors right here in bentonville, so they don't have to travel anywhere for meetings.) Call the supplier and tell them that Walmart stores are only letting people purchase 8 cans of their product at a time. (It's not actually walmart's product...walmart hires other companies to make their great value brand, for example: Schreiber Foods makes the Great Value Cheese, and Vaijon makes the equate shampoo and soaps and springmaid makes their bedding. I think Kimberly Clark makes the Parent's Choice, but i'm not sure) ANYway, the supplier will be PISSED about the limit. That is a HUGE negotiation that goes on for weeks in meetings, so if they are unaware of a limit they will be really angry to hear about it. They will probably just offer you free product (vendors have RIDICULOUS amounts of extras that they just give away, it's crazy)
Wow, I guess I've learned a lot being a walmart wife! (Don't tell Aaron, but I still miss Target! ;o)
