Joseph's cousin, Rachel, commented on my chicken cooking picture that I was making a lot of chicken. She wondered what I was making. So here is the recipe for chicken wraps. That night was the first time we had had this recipe and we absolutely love it. I always cook up more chicken than I need because the process of dicing chicken is so labor intensive and my hands about fall off from the cold because I try to dice them when they are still half frozen. Anyways, I always cook up a ton because a lot of our favorite recipes call for cooked, diced chicken so I know that I will use it up quickly! Anyway, for the chicken wrap recipe..........
Mix together 6 ozs. softened cream cheese and 4 tbsps. softened butter. After that is mixed together, mix in some dried onion flakes. Add 2 c. cooked, diced (or shredded) chicken. Seperate 8 crescent rolls and lay out on cookie sheet. Spread chicken mixture onto each roll. Cover each with another 8 crescent rolls and press sides of each roll together to seal. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes (could be longer or shorter depending on oven, you want the tops to be brown and the dough to be all the way done).
Meanwhile, mix 1 can cream of chicken soup, 1/2 c. sour cream, 1/2 c. milk, and pepper to taste in a saucepan. Heat the mixture up and serve over cooked rolls as gravy.
